My Goals for My Work:
Whether a person is facing large or small problems in their life, therapy can become a means to discover (or re-discover) what you want and what works best for you. I believe that our creator has placed within each person a unique gift and beauty that we are able to develop and then invest in the lives of people around us. The pain and hardships we endure in our lives can be used to keep us stuck or they can become opportunities for us to grow strong and more equipped to face our future. As we work together, it is my goal to equip clients to realize their gifts and true identity through genuineness, being nonjudgmental and empathetic. I work with clients to apply the Christian faith and scripture to life's challenges and changes.
A passage I find valuable, that guides the treatment I provide is Isaiah 42:16 "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them."
