I believe reaching out for help shows an incredible amount of strength and simultaneously shows our humanity. Asking for help shows that this world we live in can make us hurt in ways we simply cannot cope with on our own. Ultimately, my goal is to partner alongside you in and help you identify old strategies in your life that may no longer work and help you find new strategies of coping and communication to implement that will fit your life in a way that creates less pain, frustration, chaos and even confusion. I believe you are the expert of your own life, but sometimes, it helps to have an outsider to help see something different. I'm honored to work alongside you.
Joy obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University and is currently working on finishing her Masters of Counseling degree at Dallas Baptist University.
