Goals for my work: “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you.” -Maya Angelou

I have always been fascinated by stories of any kind, especially those of characters with the capacity to develop and grow through struggle.  My hope for you is that you may learn to better understand and appreciate your own narrative, while simultaneously finding the courage to revise the parts you wish to change.

About Me: Allison has worked closely with teenagers and young adults in multiple settings, including schools, career centers, residential and inpatient settings.  She holds a counseling degree from the University of North Texas, where she specialized in treating the adolescent population.  Allison’s background as a classroom teacher and Job Specialist through Jobs for America’s Graduates gives her unique perspective into the day-to-day challenges facing adolescents and young adults.  She has direct experience working with adult and pediatric eating disorders in higher levels of care.
