Community Partners

PCC is currently teaming up with the following partners in our community:

Baylor Scott and White

The Center is working with Baylor Scott and White leadership to create effective referral systems to provide greater collaboration of care.

Brother Bill’s Helping Hand

BBHH provides health care and other services such as food distribution, job skills training, exercise classes, and children’s programming. We provide counseling integrated within their clinic.

Buckner International

PCC provides counseling for participants in their Family Pathways program which supports single parents as they obtain their education, overcoming pasts that have involved issues such as human trafficking and domestic violence. We are also at their Wynnewood Family Hope Center that provides out-of-school hour programming for children and empowerment services for families.

Children’s Health

PCC has been providing parenting classes for Children’s Health Pediatric Group clinics and is developing a collaboration to provide counseling and assessments for children who are deaf and hearing impaired at their ENT specialty clinic which utilizes UT Southwestern physicians.

Healing Hands Ministries

PCC provides integrated behavioral health care in this clinic that serves underinsured and uninsured residents in Vickery Meadow and Lake Highlands.

Heart House

We are leading a trauma program for children at this Vickery Meadow community center and out-of-school program.

New Friends New Life

PCC has provided counselors who have led groups on anxiety and emotional well-being for this organization that serves victims of human trafficking.

Southern Methodist University

Dr. Laura Minze, a faculty member, and two doctoral students in the psychology department are working with PCC on its trauma programming.

The School Zone – West Dallas (TSZ)

PCC is a member of this project of the Budd Center within the Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education and Human Development.

University of North Texas

Dr. Jennifer Baggerly, who leads UNT Dallas’ graduate counseling program, has provided training and supervision related to children and trauma and we are working to implement a research project on the trauma work PCC is doing in Vickery Meadow. 

University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center

PCC provides counseling at Brother Bill’s Helping Hand and Healing Hands Ministries where UT Southwestern is conducting a depression screening program. We have participated in trainings and consultations related to the project.

Wesley Rankin Community Center

The Center has begun providing counseling for children within their out-of-school program.

West Dallas Community School

PCC has provided counseling and assessments for this private school for the last five years.
